I’m Warren and I head up GardenAngels (Stroud). This is me with my super friendly dog who sometimes joins us on jobs if its appropriate.

My life in landscaping began 23 years ago when I left the corporate world of marketing and joined the cooperative world of working with nature. It’s been a love affair ever since. In fact it’s an honour.

The team back then worked on smaller gardens and rapidly grew to larger spaces and commercial projects. I also went back to college to learn about garden design and landscaping skills.

After 8 years I joined a water specialist company working on a wide variety of dynamic projects including swimming ponds, treatment ponds, water therapy gardens and natural water play installations.

Another 8 years on I’m back on my own doing a wider variety of landscaping projects around the UK. In all my time of creating some wonderful spaces, I was happy to let others maintain them.

My view on looking after gardens changed overnight when my father suddenly passed away, leaving my mother (married for 60 years), to fend for herself and tackle the garden and fish pond.

In that moment I realised just how precious life is and how valuable ‘garden angels’ can be. These are people who help people to look after their ever changing, ever growing outside spaces.

In my mothers case it was her long-time gardener and me. This is why I set up GardenAngels (Stroud). To help people look after spaces which I know will look after them. It’s the power of nature.

In an ever changing world of uncertainty, you can be sure that mother nature will always be there for you. Our business is ‘guided by nature’ and we treat everyone as we would wish to be treated.
